Because forgiveness is such a profound subject, I've decided to write another blog post speaking on the subject of forgiveness this month in honor of International Forgiveness Day on August 7th. When we realize that if we don't or can't forgive past hurts, we're holding onto an energy that's still holding onto our body and mind, an earnest desire begins to let go of these feelings once and for all. As soon as we forgive ourselves and everyone else, we free up that energy to go out into the world and create what we really want. Make a list. Who haven't you forgiven? Be completely honest with yourself. Write it down, and include your own self if you need forgiving. Write down- I forgive you.....I forgive me. It opens a new door in your heart. You open the door to clarity, abundance and freedom of spirit in your life.

It's important to realize that this cleansing of your inside effects and changes your outside. You are a walking projector. You are projecting everything in your outside world from what's within you. When you take responsibility of your inner world, examine it, and clean it up, it has a major affect on your outside world. It's important to keep in mind that it's not a matter of blame or thinking its your fault! It's just that you need to be aware that YOU are running the projector! When your inner world is based on joy positivity, love, compassion and acceptance, you see the outer world through the eyes of joy positivity, love, compassion and acceptance. You will see things through a different lens.

We live in a belief-driven universe. Understanding that our beliefs help create our reality is a major first step. It's also crucial to understand that it's not always our conscious beliefs that are doing the work. It's often our subconscious beliefs that attract what's around us. Even though we may work on our conscious mind being positive, open and loving, our subconscious mind can believe the opposite and these beliefs need to be aligned too.

Joe Vitale, an evolved teacher and incredibly prolific author and musician working to increase mindfulness in our world, teaches us that we can purify both our conscious and subconscious inner worlds to create a more positive, responsible and beautiful outer world by the practice of Ho’Oponopono.

Ho’Oponopono is a Hawaiian mantra of the correction of erroneous beliefs within ourselves. By the repetition of this cleansing mantra we can improve and change our world. By repeating the mantra of Ho’Oponopono, you not only affect your conscious mind, but you eventually begin to have an affect on the subconscious mind too, deeply cleansing and letting go of long held subconscious patterns that you may not even be aware of.

The mantra of Ho’Oponopono is:
I love you, I'm sorry, please forgive me, thank you.
I love you, I'm sorry, please forgive me, thank you.

Try repeating this a few times with your eyes closed and notice the effect it has on you.

This cleanses the beliefs and habits in your mind to allow you to be completely in this moment and to allow your inner intuition to be heard. It cleanses the 'data' in your conscious and subconscious thinking to enable healthy inspirational thoughts to come through. It enables you to speak to that part of you that's bigger: the internal connection to the force, the universe, the divine, God, whatever is bigger that keeps everything going- whatever you want to call it.

So what is meant by this beautiful mantra?

I love you- is placing you in that state of complete oneness, pure gratitude and pure unconditional love and acknowledging that, 'I am one with the divine'.

I'm sorry- I'm sorry for being unaware of my own erroneous programming and beliefs that have been instilled in my mind by my own past experiences and my past ancestors.

Forgive me- is asking the universe to absolve you and open space for you to move on to a clearer and healthier reality.

Thank you- expresses gratitude for dissolving any limitations that you’ve created in your mind. This is one of the highest vibrations that allows you to be completely in the moment, present to the truth and to creating a better reality for yourself and for all of creation.

To help you align your conscious and subconscious mind and to keep you from sabotaging yourself, Joe gives us 4 life changing beliefs to consider when you use the mantra of Ho’Oponopono.

1: By the repetition of: I love you, Im sorry, please forgive me, thank you, your subconscious negative thinking patterns will begin to change regardless of whether you know it or not.

2: Know that there is always a way: there exists a natural guiding principle in the universe that creates an opening to find solutions and stop sabotaging oneself from looking at all of the reasons why we can't do something.

3: Nothing is impossible. We can create anything we can think of. Remember the 'tricorder' that the crew used to use in Star Trek? We've not only created a tricorder or 'snap phone', we've moved onto something even more advanced- the smart phones of today!

4: I am responsible for it all. You create your own reality- not just yourself and right around you, but you are creating EVERYTHING!!! Your universe is your own creation. We are unaware of this and we think that we're not responsible for anything, but realistically, we are responsible for EVERYTHING. This is very empowering. It's not your fault- but it is your responsibility.

When you get rid of your limited beliefs, there's nothing you can't do. At any age, at any time you can create and pursue what you want to do. Let go of your limitations and take responsibility for your greatness!

I love you, I'm sorry, please forgive me, thank you

In valuing and deeply respecting yourself and your ability to manifest good in this world, you can let go of old ways of thinking and stale energy to allow new energy in your system will reach other people and that will touch and love them. We live in abundant universe. Take action and expect miracles today!

With love and light,

Jen
